Start Slow – Growcraft lights have VERY high light output and unless your plants are already acclimated to high light intensity, it is best to start slow with the light hanging high and possibly also dimmed. Then monitor plant reaction over a few days and slowly adjust as needed.

I bought the x1 160w for a clone closet that will later hold a bunch of mother plants. So far I am trying to keep the new cuttings away from bright light and the x1 is too good at its job. I have to keep the dimmer all the way down and the light more than 5 feet from the clones so they don’t respond to much to the light. I can’t wait to lower the light and turn up the dimmer to see how well the plants will veg. I will most likely purchase a larger unit in the future.

Excellent versatility! I have my X1 at the bottom of a 2×4 grow tent with three tiered shelves. Top: Germination, Middle: Seedling and Bottom with my X1 for initial vegging. The X1 can handle delicate plants like Pak Choi and Lettuce providing gentle low PPFD light with great results and then can easily ramp up and provide 600+ PPFD for other light intensive plants. It functions perfectly and had the versatility that was needed. I also left a review under X3/500 where I tested them out against another set of lights and both the X1 and X3 performs flawlessly and the plants respond extremely well to this light bar. Chilled Tech is where it’s at, all of their lights are top-notch and their customer service is on point. They will go out of their way to help you all!! This light can be used as a supplement light but it fits a 2×4 tent perfectly, if you don’t have one of these lights and consider yourself a serious grower then you need these lights!

I have four 160w single bars, two of each spectrum. The flower spectrum bars are supplemental lighting in a 5×5 greenhouse, and the two veg spectrums are on a rack in a 2×4 tent. 1. Plants love the lights. 2. Dimming is great for high efficiency and low head hight. 3. Customer service is great. Buy from Chilled, it’s a good move.

ChilLed did it again. I am using one of these with the Veg board for a 2×4 tent. Just housing clones, seedlings, mothers. Great light. Can dim it very low. I recommend ChilLed to everyone. Now where are those uv bars? LOL

Great Light, wish it was ip65+ as I often foliar spray and worry about getting the diodes wet. Would be nice if the dimmer pot had % markers so you wouldn’t have to guess the output level.

Purchased the X1 a few months back to replace a spider farmer light I was using for my seedlings and clones. I was not happy with the spider farmer so I wanted to try another manufacturer, preferably located in the USA. After following a few Facebook groups and doing my own research I decided to purchase the X1 for my seedlings and clones, but surprisingly I was able to veg my plants as well.
