Assembled LED light Bar – Use to add more light bars to your Growcraft DIY light.
Parts included in assembly:
1 x Growcraft 40in Heatsink
1 x Growcraft 40in LED Board
4 x M3-6mm Plastite Screws (Installed)
Note: Only 4 center PCB screws are installed. Ends holes on both sides of bar are left without screws, those holes are used to install the PCB Cover after Light Bar is secured into U Frame Structure.

I really enjoyed going through the DIY process with the ChilLed grow light. From reaching out to ChilLed directly and using their amazing customer support, to all of the resources available on the website- it made putting the light together a breeze! I am impressed with the light. I was using fluorescents previously and was amazed at the power of the ChilLed grow light!
All in all, I really recommend getting a ChilLed grow light. The customer service is phenomenal, the DIY aspect is great (Along with the many provided resources!), and the power of the lights is outstanding! Really happy I went with ChilLed 🙂

I made my own frame with 8 light bars and two 600 watt meanwell drivers I made the frame .6 1/2 by 40 it covers 7 by 4 nicely @ 16 inches 900 to 1200 which is perfect the people at chilled were very helpful as soon as emailed with a question they answered.I was going to wire it in series but they got back to me told me no no wire it in parallel.I think leds work better spread out evenly .I soldered and shrink tubed everything this thing is a beast when I turned it on I thought it was going to burn out my retinas I weld a lot so no stranger to bright lights the heat sinks they designed are beautiful.This thing is a beast the light coverage is so even I have no doubt it is going to work great I may get two more. Bars see if I can get it to cover a 4 by 8 maybe a little more I can’t put a picture maybe the person at chilled can I sent them some they got back to me.7 by 4 maybe a little more with 1200 watts is very economical and if I can get it to 8 or 9 with to more bars is about as good as you can get and still grow top of the line quality.The par meter that just arrived takes all the guess work out.Chilled lights are great I built this for about a grand my two other lights that cover the same foot print cost me 3 times that.I haven’t grown with it yet it’s ready but plants aren’t new to leds but they work way better than h p s lights 8 months ago I wouldn’t take one if you gave it to me these quality bar lights no heat on the canopy even light wow !

I put together my own light ,,I used there strips and heat sink and bought the drivers from chilled because well I could not find them one cent cheaper anywhere;;mostly way more expensive and I made it 40 by 6 1/2 made my own frame two 600 watt drivers soldered an heat shrinked all the wires well I finished it in my living room plugged it in oh my god I thought it was going to burn out my retinas I weld a lot so no stranger to bright flashes.Everytime I emailed chilled they got back to me right away I almost wired it in series but they got back to me told me no no parallel.I have it hung almost ready to put plants under it .it is a beast I feel better spreading the light out more I recently got a par meter 7’ by 50” I have 1000 to 1200 par at 18 “ perfect.I haven’t used it yet but no doubt it will grow great.I will come back and say but it’s very cool looking beast!

This will be my 3rd LED light purchased online….I needed something that was more efficient (less heat), complete coverage for 2×4′ tent, and proper spectrum for veg to flower. The previous LED light’s I have purchased online were to “spotlight” and only covered half the 2×4′ tent, had noisy annoying fans and made the tent when closed up way to hot even with ventilation fan.
These 160W Lights by ChilLED are the best lights I have used so far….Perfect coverage for 2×4′, no heat they are only just warm to touch and u/mol intensity’s are exactly as stated on the light diagrams (checked with LI-COR meter with quantum sensor). I have finally found a company I can order direct from instead of using amazon or ebay!! Simple, classic design.
You will not be disappointed in purchasing these lights…if your handy with wiring and electronics the DIY options are economical and fun to build :P.

Absolutely amazing. Instead of replacing the 8 t5 bulbs I had I picked up 4 of these and I am blown away. When I first plugged them in I about fell over they were so bright. Also happy to have all the extra space from not having to have the lights so close to the plants.
I can’t wait to get more from ChilLED!!!

I am using three 40in LED Light Bar at 160W each in a 2’x4′ grow tent and it occupies across the space perfectly. Spectrum is LIT.

Being diy, these boards are awesome.. easy to build, super high quality and very well thought out design.. it’s also nice they stock a lot of the little parts like nuts and bolts and connectors to complete the build. The pricing of chilled has always been extremely fair, and it’s a homegrown small company you can feel good about supporting.
