The 20″ Growcraft (Vegetative Spectrum) that I purchased from ChilLED is being used in a large tropical vivarium that measures 54″ wide, 24″ deep and 36″ tall. The build quality of the LED board and the accompanying heatsink is sublime. Assembly and installation was a breeze. Shipping was fast and free by the way… Most noteworthy is the unbelievable quantity of pure beautiful light that this fixture generates. At this price point, one would be hard pressed to find a quality built LED array that generates such an ample of light with the proper spectrum. I know that this use case is most likely an outlier, given that I’m not growing food or smoke, but that doesn’t minimize my overwhelming satisfaction in purchasing a Growcraft fixture.
I’d like to convey my utmost appreciation to Vitaly and the crew for creating a superior LED fixture!

HOLY COW! This light is BRIGHT!! I did tons of research before purchasing this light and all things LED me here… I was impressed with the build quality of this light, you can really tell there is a lot of attention to detail. Even the connector for power is high quality. You are getting a premium product at only a slight price increase over other brands. You get what you pay for and this light is no exception.

Great product. PCB board feels solid, looks good.
Picked up 4 of the 64W 20″ long LED PCBs and 5 of 160W 40″ long LED PCBs to build a custom light engine (April 2020). Purchased them without the aluminium T-slot heatsinks because I already have an aluminium backing plate to fasten them to. The aluminium PCB is thick and thanks to the high thermal conductivity of aluminium it helps dissipates heat to increase the efficiency and longevity of the LEDs.
I am happy ChilLED finally offers long linear products. Was tired of seeing so many LED arrays crammed on to tiny round PCBs when the huge COB LEDs were retired. The white LEDs are a mix of Samsung 3K and 4K if I am not mistaken, which is great.
Dissapointed with the way the PCBs were shipped. They were packaged into tubes and are ever so slightly bent as a result. They didn’t lay down completely flat even after sitting on a flat surface for a couple of days. This is a minor trivial gripe as this is fixed once they are fastened to my backing plate. Also, one of the tubes was OPEN when I received it, meaning the LED boards could slide in and out of the tube on it’s way over here, fall out, etc. Scary. Not sure who’s fault this is, package could have been opened and then improperly sealed at customs. That is what I get for ordering the PCBs without the aluminium heat sinks for protection during shipping I suppose.
4 out of 5 stars because of the packaging / shipping issue.
