Use this guide to redeem your Photone Pro 2 Month Trial
The trial is only for iOS users with an iPhone or iPad. If you have an Android you can download the Photone Beta app on the Google Play Store
Step 1
Once your order is marked complete in our system you will receive an email with your trial URL.
If you’re viewing the email on your iPhone the URL link will direct you to the Apple App Store where you will be prompted to download the Photone App.
Keep in mind that once the trial expires your Apple account will be charged $4.99/mo. You can cancel at any time before the trial concludes to avoid any charges.
Step 2
Once you’ve downloaded the Photone app you will select Redeem Offer
Step 3
Success! You now have access to all Photone Pro features for the duration of the trial period!
Step 4
To effectively use the Photone app you will need to cut a strip of paper and place it over your front camera. Photone recommends using a strip of regular matte white paper (22 lb or 80 g/m2) and a piece of adhesive tape to ensure the paper is securely over your front camera.
If you’re measuring PAR levels of a Growcraft be sure to select the “LED Full Spec” light source option to get the most accurate reading.
Keep in mind that readings will vary based on the model of your iPhone. While Photone is a great resource for growers please be aware that there may be a degree of error when taking readings. For the most accurate PAR readings we recommend investing in a dedicated PAR meter like the Apogee MQ-500.
