Start Slow – Growcraft lights have VERY high light output and unless your plants are already acclimated to high light intensity, it is best to start slow with the light hanging high and possibly also dimmed. Then monitor plant reaction over a few days and slowly adjust as needed.

2 year review. I’ll talk about power, DIY, production, quality, and customer service.
-First we purchased multiple X3-500s. Wasn’t sure what to expect from using 1000w hps. So we went watt for watt just in case.
-These are very powerful lights. We had to dim them down. For a 5×5 area we only need between 500-600 watts total.
-Then we bought the X3-330s, depending on hanging height distance we still sometimes dim these.
-I see now they have the 600w, in my opinion that would be perfect for a 5×5 tent.
-We also bought some DIY’s. Pretty easy, watched some videos as we went along. Minimal knowledge required and you save a few bucks. What’s nice now is if I need to fix anything or replace any components, I know how.
-Production went up easily 50% and quality of product even improved. The penetration through the canopy is excellent. Much better light spread reaching to the corners of tents/rooms and they also put off much less heat. From using Hps / Mh for many years I was skeptical, but wow… only increases in all areas of production.
-Quality of lights is excellent, powerful, and built to last. Not much else to say. Probably overbuilt, if you bump your head on them-it’ll hurt lol.
-Customer service is above and beyond. Any questions at any time and always reply in a timely manner. They will explain everything- most recently I just inquired about the AC infinity controller and adapters. Multiple emails even in same days. They have even done special requests with mailings for me. This is top notch customer service and I feel that I am valued customer.
-Thanks to all at ChilLed! From owner to management, production, fulfillment, customer reps and more. Every one at this place has taken steps to make sure I am happy…And I am. Thank you.

I went with the dyi, extremely easy to assemble. I’ve waited for a few grows before giving a review. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The plants are bigger, the bud’s are fat and oily. What more is there? The light gets 5 stars.

I am on my 2nd flowering grow using this 330 Watt 3 bar fixture. The 1st grow finished so much better than my old 600 Watt Sun Sys. with a E Hortilux bulb ever did. This for almost half the wattage is significantly better than running the HPS. The rate of bud growth and final bud size is truly amazing. New bulbs every 9 months. This is the better option in the long run. That is because this will last for so much longer without having to spend another cent. You will not have a bad grow because you didn’t realize a (normal looking) bulb was faulty. The other big benefit is the ease of changing the power/light intensity. It is saving even more electricity being able to easily change output for different stages. The efficiency is top notch too. It is a nice size and shape for my 3’x5′ area. Also, you can turn these off and back on without a big deal, that was a real pia.

Growcraft X3 – 330W LED Grow Light – Commercial Grade This light is exceptional. 1st grow was as good as the 600 Watt HPS it replaced. This is my 2nd LED and this one is the best bang for your buck.
I took a long time deciding between Electric Sky and ChilLED and I am so glad I did. This fixture is light and fills my 2.5′ x 4.5 room fine. This LED grows better buds over any of my 5 years of HPS growing. Less heat, more head room and no venting the fixture outside. And did I mention half the electricity usage!
