Water Protection: Currently the Growcraft has no protective coating against direct moisture exposure. If moisture accumulates near the LEDs damage may occur. Make sure to point any sprays downward and away from the LEDs.

Start Slow – Growcraft lights have VERY high light output and unless your plants are already acclimated to high light intensity, it is best to start slow with the light hanging high and possibly also dimmed. Then monitor plant reaction over a few days and slowly adjust as needed.

I bought the X3 500 do it yourself Ki last month. This light is as good as the X4 600 that I bought last year. I bought the light to replace two Sunco 80 watt purple lights. I wouldn’t have bought these lights if they didn’t meet all of my needs. The light is fantastic and fits in a 4 x 2 tent perfectly. It does not need full power to get great growth. The kit is easy to put together, however I think the commercial units are better because of the push lock connectors, a better dimmer switch and the warranty.
I do not regret purchasing this light. This light is as good as the other one I have. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a high-quality light not to keep looking and buy a Chilled product.
